About
Artist Bio

Starting off playing in the Boston Commons in the summer of 09, Hillary Reynolds Band was born. The instrumentation was simple: acoustic guitar, djembe and vocals. One year in to the adventure, they've played everything from weddings to Internet radio to bar, blogs and coffee houses all over the country. And now the band is comprised of piano/vox, djembe, cello, upright bass, background vocals and guitar with three sets worth of arranged material rather than vamping the same 8 songs!

Do you remember how you loved Joni Mitchell, Carol King, or Laura Nyro when you first heard their exquisite voices singing about the things that matter to all of us? Listening to Hillary Reynolds will transport you to the emotional place you were in when these singer songwriters amazed you. Her lyrics touch on subjects that affect us all, sometimes with a twist: a daughter taking care of a parent, a lover’s remorse. Hillary has created a following in the Boston area, where she has lived and performed for the past three years. She recently compiled a CD of songs – of hers and other artists – to raise money for women with breast cancer: "Living Life Out of a Suitcase".

They are working on their debut album this summer 10' alongside the project of writing one song every day. With that, they've also had their first interview with "The Appleton Journal" as well as their first blog post by Patrick Rothfuss, author of "The Name of the Wind".
